Her name may seem familiar, but that’s because she’s signed to producer and artist Labrinth’s record label, Odd Child, and featured on Wretch 32’s track ‘Forgiveness’. Etta’s been reviewed by iD magazine as one to watch for this year and I agree 100%.
If my word is not enough then check out other songs like Every Dream, the original and acoustic versions of Ask Me To Stay and her feature on Warren XcLnce’s Examine Me. Absolute quality.
Adele has confessed that despite being the queen of the charts, she would give up her career to win back her ex-boyfriend.
The Someone Like You hitmaker, whose sophomore LP, 21, has achieved its fifteenth week at the top of the Official UK Album Chart, claims she would ditch her superstar status in return for hooking-up with her former beau.
During an interview with Out magazine, Adele was asked what she would give up to be reunited with her ex, to which the songstress replied: “Well, I would still be singing in the shower, of course, but yeah – my career, my friendships, my hobbies. I would have given up trying to be the best.”
The Chasing Pavements hitmaker, who used the break-up from her mystery boyfriend to pen tracks for 21, then admitted she feels her ex-lover was her soulmate.
Adele explained: “I don’t think I’ll ever forgive myself for not making my relationship with my ex on 21 work, because he’s the love of my life,”
The 23-year old recently revealed that one of her former flames has demanded a cut of the royalties from her debut album, 19, after Adele used their split for inspiration.

TMZ spoke to the girlfriend of recently-murdered Cali Swag District member M-Bone, who says she suspects a jealous neighbor is behind the slaying of the 22-year-old rapper.
M-Bone’s live-in girlfriend, who asked her identity be kept anonymous, told the gossip site that M-Bone, born Montae Talbert, had engaged in a Twitter feud with a neighbor — an exchange they reported to the authorities — who was obsessed and jealous of the up-and-coming artist’s success. The man apparently made threats of violence via the social networking site.
The girlfriend also recounted to TMZ what happened just hours before M-Bone was fatally shot outside of a liquor store in Inglewood, Calif. She said on that same day she picked up M-Bone at the airport at 12:15 p.m. and took him back to their apartment, where they lived together for a year. Later that night, at around 10 p.m., she said he left for the studio in her car. Just hours later she got a call from another member of Cali Swag District who delivered the devastating news that her boyfriend had been shot and killed in a drive-by.
According to reports, M-Bone was shot by the drive-by shooter as he stood near his girlfriend’s parked car. The shooter drove off and then returned, presumably to see if he had hit his intended target.
The publicist for Cali Swag District sent this statement to XXLMag.com yesterday (May 16) shortly after reports of M-Bone’s murder surfaced on the net: ”Cali Swag District member Montae “M-Bone” Talbert was the victim of a random act of violence last night, Sunday, May 15th in his hometown of Inglewood, CA. As police are still investigating the shooting and untimely death we ask that anyone with information contact the Inglewood Police Department. Montae, aged 22, was the comedic entertainer of Cali Swag District (who helped launch “The Dougie” to mainstream audiences) and was an inspiration to his family, friends and fans. He was a hardworking, passionate artist and dancer that will be deeply missed.”
Condolences go out to M-Bones family and friends. Thanks for teaching me how to dougie, Rest In Beats.

Nicki Minaj wants to collaborate with Adele– Well who doesn’t?
“There are loads of UK artists I’d like to work with,” the Young Money star told The Sun, before singling out Adele, who has just topped the US singles chart with Rolling In The Deep. “I think Adele is dope, I’m a really big fan of hers. I’m sure we’ll meet eventually,” she said.
Nicki added that working with David Guetta on Where Dem Girls At has inspired her to branch out into other genres. “Everyone keeps telling me that I need to rap on some dubstep beats,” she explained, “so that is definitely a possibility too. After working with David I’m getting into a different world.”
The Pink Friday rapper has also been trying to perfect her cockney accent in preparation for spending more time on these shores. “I just love the way you guys talk. It’s so funny and beautiful to me so I’ve been brushing up on my accent.”
She added: “You know, I think the United States has had enough of me for a little bit, and I think I can now pack my bags and go to France and the UK and everywhere else.”
But first, Nicki will be supporting Britney Spears on her US Femme Fatale tour, which kicks off next month. The pint-sized star recently hinted that fans would see her share with stage with Britney for a duet. “We’re in talks about it. I can’t confirm that yet though, but that would be awesome,” Nicki said.
‘Save Me’ is one of two songs I truly appreciate by Nicki. The effort that clearly went in to the production to make her singing sound good is owed a round of applause, and the use of the Jungle genre is definitely a winner. Listening to the lyrics, it’s easy to find a connection.

Dannii Minogue is leaving The X Factorafter three years but has denied reports she was sacked by Simon Cowell.
“I am so disappointed that I can’t be a part of The X Factor this year,” she confirmed in a statement. “I’m going to miss the show and the amazing team who work so incredibly hard on it.”
The mum-of-one blamed scheduling conflicts with her other judging role, on Australia’s Got Talent, for her decision. “During discussions for me to return [to The X Factor] it became clear that unfortunately, this year, the X Factor audition dates in the UK clash with the live shows of Australia’s Got Talent during June and July,” Dannii explained.
“For this reason I am unable to return. I want to wish the new judges every success for this year’s show, and can’t wait to see who the British public choose as their next big star. Thanks to everyone who has shown me so much love and support, and brought me so much joy during my four incredible years working on the show.”
The popular Aussie twice won the show with an act she had mentored – Leon Jackson in 2007 and Matt Cardle last year. “Team Minogue will continue to fly a flag later this year when the amazingly talented, and last year’s winner, Matt Cardle releases his debut album,” she added.
Reports state that Alesha Dixon, N-Dubz’s Tulisa or even Sharon Osbourne may be in the frame to take Dannii and Cheryl Cole’s vacant seats on the panel. So far, the only judge to be confirmed is Gary Barlow.
